Ichiban Boshi Pavilion

If you are looking for food while shopping around Bukit Bintang area, one of the best place is in The Pavilion.

Ichiban Boshi is one of my favourite Japanese Restaurant here. It is located right in front of the Food Republic Foodcourt.

The prices are reasonable. Prices in the menu is all inclusive.

For dinner for 4 persons we ordered 3 dinner sets plus an additional bowl of cawanmushi. The food is more than enough to fill our stomach. Drinks ordered were 4 cups of green tea which were refillable.

The sushi and sashimi were fresh. The cawanmushi is one of the best in town comparable to any of the higher class Japanese restaurant.

The bill for all these came up to exactly RM130.

Ichiban Boshi also have a branch in Giza at Kota Damansara.

The cawanmushi is excellent. Texture is very smooth.

The beef curry set.

Salmon sashimi that came with the tokusen sushi mori set.

Sushi Moria Take set.

Good spread of choices

Buffet-Eat all you can, A Minor Place

The cheapest buffet in town ! Eat all you can from RM11-RM18 ! Yes, this is at A Minor Place, Plaza Damas. Well, the food is like catering standard. Special condition :  You have to only use one plate, additional charges if you ask for a new plate ! Strictly no food wastage.

Lunch at Jeff Lee Kitchen

Jeff Lee Kitchen is a Chinese restaurant serving local Chinese dishes. It is located in Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh right next to the wet market. Doors open at 11am and it serve lunch and dinner.

Recently I went there for lunch with 3 others. This time we opted for one large bowl of porridge and three different type of noodles.

This first dish is meehoon cooked with small prawns and bitter gourd. The slightly bitter taste blends very well with the meehoon making special in terms of taste. Excellent for those who dare to venture beyond the usual style of meehoon.

Love this mixed intestine porridge. Cooked to the right texture without being too watery nor too thick.

One of the signature dish in this place. Minced meat topping makes this noodle really tasty.

And finally a bowl of claypot Lou Shu Fen. Nicely blend with black sauce.

Drinks ordered is a jug of sunflower tea shared among 4 of us.

Total cost of meal is below RM70.

Overall the food is really tasty eventhough the crowd is big. They did not compromise the food with speed. In fact, patrons must be prepared to wait for over half an hour for a table during the peak hours.

It was a hot and stuffy day at Taman Maluri. Passed by this Twin Hotel and decided to try the set lunch. A pleasant surprise, the environment is quite cozy, feeling relax sitting at the quiet corner away from the crowded coffee shops outside. The food is quite ok too !

Very generous scoops of ice-cream. What more can u ask for ?
